Green with Envy…
This 4 string cigar box guitar was a custom build for a guy that sold me my VW Westfalia, he wanted it clean and mean…This Cuban cigar box was just right. The green color with the highlights for the fret markers, really sets it off. It is fretted, with a piezo pick up and an old bakelite radio knob for the volume control. Classic. SOLD
Mean, yet Clean in cigar box design
Here’s a couple of clean builds, both 4 string, both electric, both with toothpick frets and cherry wood necks…I love the way the sound holes turned out on these cigar box guitars. SOLD

Dia de los Muertos, cigar box guitars for art show
This series of four boxes was created by me specifically for the ‘Dia de los Muertos’ art exhibit for the City of Anaheim a few years ago. It ran from the beginning of October through the first week in December and was very well received by all who attended. We played live cigar box guitar music there, and enjoyed some great artwork by many talented local artist. These are acoustic 4 stringers with hinge tail piece, cut in fret markers, and custom art work.
La Calavera, loteria card cigar box guitar
I start a series of these Loteria Card paintings on cigar boxes, with the plan of turning them all into guitars…well, this is the only one that made it’s way to instrument status, with it’s poplar neck and custom oil painted graphics. It’s hanging up in my good friend’s Man Room and looks great. SOLD
